This was really pleasant to listen to. :)

Hexsixth responds:

Thanks! :D
Glad you enjoyed it.

Here are me thoughts: I really liked this, but I feel like some of the instruments clash with each other, and can get a crazy. For example, at like 1:20, you have too many instruments playing different things at the same time. The piano feels unnaturally loud compared to everything else. Also, the sound glitches out at 1:40, you may want to fix that. On a positive note, I love the vibe this has, and the chord progressions that you used.

Edman520 responds:

Yea I know sometimes it clashes but it goes with the feel of the song. And yep I totally know what you mean by the spot at 1:20, ill try and fix that. Oh and at 1:40 it is suppose to do that. Thanks for the tips!

This was awesome, I really liked it. Some of the drums were a bit quiet though, but it wasn't a big problem for me.

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks a lot supaman321! I get what you're saying about the percussion ;)

Wow that sample library sounds good. I love the way you panned all the instruments, it sounds like a real orchestra. Did you do that, or does Miroslav do that for you?
I have never listened to the original arrangement of Tidal Wave so I can't comment on your version, but I can say that it sounds well done.

My only concern is that there a few minor clicks/glitches throughout the track. Even though its not a big problem, it would be nice if they were not there.

Greyhunter1 responds:

Cheers buddy, I'm with you- love this sample library! Really easy to use and has all the built in effects I needed :D I did the panning, but tbh miroslav sounded pretty good already with just a few inbuilt effects haha, I do wonder if the crackling is coming from either the samples themselves, or some sort of processor power thing, will investigate!

Wow that was insanely good.

Right after I pressed start, I immediately knew that this was going to be a high quality track - well mixed and well put together. I have nothing to complain about anywhere, and I can honestly say that I even listened to it more than once. I guess this proves the point of some of the other reviews saying that needs to be longer. Great job on this, I can't wait to hear more from you.

Christmas is over so......merry boxing day I guess.

Pandasticality responds:

merry boxing day haha xD glad you liked it, i feel like i wanna try drum and bass but i suck at making beats at 170bpm, i got my training period in january so if something is gunna be posted in terms of new songs and such it will most likely be pushed back to february since my training is for the entire january, still, more to come soon, month isnt that long anyways.

Happy Holidays.

I really liked this. The composition was very good. If you got a 5 star score from a guy named "thatcomposerguy" then it must be good! You even got the attention of a foreigner. It is easily your best song to date, so keep it up.

My advice is to try and keep artifacts such as buzzing out of the mix. If the buzzing were not there, my score would have been much higher. This may sound harsh, but I honestly think it ruined the listening experience for me.

So: Composition = Good. Buzz = Bad.

Greyhunter1 responds:

Haha, cheers! :D I don't mind about the artefacts, they were deliberately added in afterwards as a stylistic choice using isozone (I think that's the one) so I can upload a scratch-free version for you :D

Beautiful. I can't believe this was all improvised.
I can feel the emotion in every note, every part of the song is a slightly different idea.
I have improvised on the piano myself, but I have never played something so flawless and fluent.
Overall, it is very relaxing. 5/5 stars.

XayberOptix responds:

Improvisation helps me come up with content for upcoming compositions; so it's helpful to record them. :) Thank you for your kind thoughts and for listening!

Simply beautiful. It all flows smoothly together, and the instruments all compliment each other fluently. I have always wondered about key changes, and you pulled it off excellently.

Fuoco responds:

Thank you very much. It's been a while since I logged on to NG.

My thoughts:
- You looped it seamlessly.
- The Taiko drumming, filtering, and especially the lightning SFX was awesome.
- The melody made the loop fit nicely together.
- Seems to lack a bit of upper mid/treble, though.
- Overall, this deserves a 5.

Pandasticality responds:

il take note of the mids and trembles, thank you for the tip.

Here are my thoughts:
Has a really good dance beat to it. some parts drags a bit too long. but it has its good moments. One thing I really hated was the end, it could have done better. Overall it is really good.
I think it is worth fixing up and making it a polished piece.

Kassich responds:

yeah the end was definitely rushed on my part, im def gonna revisit it and make it better. Thanks for the comment!

I play piano and create music on Fl Studio.
