Pretty good.

It probably just me but it sounds like it is missing something. It is probably because
the drums don't match your bass. Maybe you should add some white noise effects.
Just thought I would throw that out there. Just options you can experiment with.

This sounds actually pretty good. But before you add it to your game I would suggest adding some effects such as reverb and maybe lower the pitch. I gave it a 5/5.

WOW.

This song looks like it could be a really really good song.
If you add some white noise effects followed by a bit a brighter chorus, It would definitely be one of my favorites. But that is my opinion. It is totally up to you. This still deserves a 9/10 for what it is.

Your guitar playing is good. But to be honest, your recording is a little low quality.
I would consider getting a better microphone or what ever you used to record.
I would also add maybe some kind of lead to it. Good attempt at real-time recording though, that takes skill.

Your song is pretty beasty!
In places it is a little static such as the break at 1:45.
I am not an expert, but you can try increasing the bass a little, since it's dubstep.
However it is you choice, as it does sound okay as is.

I hope to get bass down soon. I thought I nailed it as a pretty bass-ey sound this time around >.<

Does dubstep usually go all over the place with wierd sound?

And extremely heavy bass and bassy drums?

If so, you did excellent, you made it extremely weird, bassy, and messy.
If not, well it was kind of overkill.

Well, all the dubstep I listen to sounds like that. Skrillex included, except he does more electro-house. Also yeah the bass seemingly came out louder. Guess I should have stuck with normal sub-bass.

do you like your singing?

Your song was good for the first 30 seconds, until you started singing.
I'm not trying to be mean but please, do not ruin your songs with your terrible singing. I would have actually rated 5 for the song itself, -4 for your singing.

I'm sorry for this negative review, but do you understand how bad your singing is?

My advice: On future songs either sing way better or just don't sing at all.

Well, I'd be angry if everything you put down wasn't true, but between my poor recording quality and, yes, my less than stellar singing talent, I have to agree with you.

Your point is reinforced even more by the fact that my highest rated songs on NG are all the ones without lyrics. I recently posted one, in fact, that got a 4.35, my highest rated song ever, and it had exactly 0 lyrics.

I plan to take voice lessons and get a higher quality microphone sometime, but until then, I will enjoy making songs on FL studio where I don't have to add lyrics. Adding lyrics added an extra step to the songwriting process, making it a tad more tedious, after all.

So, long story short, I'm actually not angry at all for your jarringly negative review; this is just another of a long list of evidence that I need to take my music in a new direction. I am actually very excited and very happy.

Also, I think I will start posting the instrumentals to each of the songs and compare the scores directly to the originals, starting with this one. Feel free to check it out and see if your notion about the music itself holds up. You can vote 5 if you like, or if you've changed your mind you can vote lower, even voting 1 again.

So that's how I think about that. Thank you. :)
